A wave for a friend

One evening I collapsed on the shoreline

Trembling

Dying

My wet eyes traced

Sad lines in the sand,

a bad map

to my aching heart.

I shouted to the wind

All my anger

I shook hard

My fists tired

And in my pain I found no one

To comfort my soul

Out of a sea wave.

She asked me:

“why are you crying?”

But I didn’t find the strength

To answer

So she gently tickled my feet

I laughed a little

I calmed down

And serene I fell asleep,

she stood there at my feet

she watches over me all night.

The following morning I never saw her again

She was missing

I wanted to thank her

But she could no longer find it

In the middle of that sea

That had dragged her away from me.

So I returned home

Perhaps I had dreamed it

Or I was drunk

Or maybe it was just my imagination

I do not know,

i just know now

I have an enormous nostalgia for it;

“my dear wave, my friend,

Where are you?

I’m sad, and you’re gone

To tickle my feet!

====

Two gentle gusts of wind

Let’s do like the waves of the sea

That sneaking

They meet at night

To make love

And then give birth on the shoreline

Many small colored shells.

We will be two gusts of wind

And barefoot

We will dance on the beach

Scorched by the sun.

We will become sea foam

And we will smear with love and passion

The rough surface

Of every rock that dares to hinder us.

We will feed our bodies

With embers and sparks

Stolen from summer bonfires

And to the kisses of passion in summer.

We will meet eternity

We will steal it

We will imprison her

We will keep it hidden

So is our love

May feed on her is to live

Forever

Between caresses of the moon

And kisses of stars.

=====

The street where the swallows live

The sun filters timidly

From the shutters

Is giving birth

A new day

Warm and colourful

Like summer,

wakes me up loud

coffee aroma

that intoxicates the house.

I open the windows

And I see swallows and turtle doves

Dance between wind and sky

Fly among the green trees

And the red of the roofs

Bringing food to their nests

Where there are mothers who

Hatch their own eggs,

soon someone will hatch

and a new life will be born.

I open another window

And from here I see the sea

And flights of seagulls

To look for food

In the middle of a herd

Of colorful fish

Under a bright mirror

Of sea water

In the distance I see the shadow

Of the Aeolian.

No, it’s not Heaven

It’s just the street where I live

This is the life

That I live every day.

====

All for one

And I as a good student

I will sit in my place

Life will be my teacher and

He will teach me how to love.

I will write on the blackboard

How important peace is

Love looking at each other’s faces

Without bombs suddenly falling.

Today’s world is a rowdy classroom

Prevents you from learning something

Distracting you with its false pleasures

And with his evil lust for power.

Only education can make us think

So only we could stop hurting ourselves

Don’t think us better than anyone

Because deep down we are all the same, all for one.

====

The castle where fairy tales live

Smile, my love

Rejoice and party

We collected

Every stone they have

Hurled against

And we used it

To build our castle

We are the fairy tale

Which is inside it

The orcs instead

They will always be out.

Fairy tales live

In castles

And the ogres in the swamps

To eat forever

Some mud.
